In honor of many of the Fall collections incorporating pieces that literally look as if they came out of an Art Museum, I decided to wear my Chocolate & Aqua baroque dress that my Grandmother sewed for me last year, (which, itself, looks like a piece of art, inspired by architecture). Pairing it with my white white silk cardigan, Chocolate knit tights, and my matching chocolate Snakeskin pumps, with a golden buckle. Adding a metallic accent, that was seen within the dress, since everybody told me that my dress was super shiny.
Ironically enough, the Chocolate, Aqua, and Metallic color palette remained consistent. As for the eye, I went with a layer of aqua eyeshadow, with a layer of white shimmer, ontop. While for the lip, it was Simply chocolaticious.
A frantic I am for pretty much everything: fur, silk, shimmery, and floral. I was super obsessed with today’s Blugirl collection. Whether it was the fur Ushankas, (that I’ve been begging for ever since they hit the Ralph Lauren Fall 2013 runway), the candy coated shifts, the leopard and white feathered capes, or all of the above? Creative Director, Anna Molinari just can’t seem to stop obsessing over the Swinging Sixties, (and either can I)!!!!
